April Fool's Day

- Do you celebrate April Fool's Day? Why or why not?
- If you do, name a couple of the best pranks you've pulled on others on April Fool's Day.
- Name a couple of the best pranks pulled on you.
- Have you ever made a prank that backfired? What was the prank and how did you remedy the situation?
I would name some if there were any that were actual pranks, rather than attempts to embarrass or mock me.
I do prank sometimes, but it's usually to get back at someone who's been an absolute jerk to me.
One prank I do remember pulling was back when I was at my old school (The one that treated me like scum for little reason), I was in freshman year and my teacher was one that the school had brought back since I was in 7th grade. He was obsessed with coffee, he drank it throughout everyday and put sugar into it, sugar he kept in the school cafeteria. The cafeteria was accessible by anyone since the school had no security. One day, I was waiting for my mother to come pick me up since that school had no buses, and because my mother was NEVER on time, I was usually the only person remaining at school when it was over numerous times.
One day I went to mess around in the cafeteria because I was bored and my mother was late like usual, and I noticed my teacher's bag of sugar nearby. While I was messing around, I found a salt shaker that was full of salt, and that gave me the idea to mix that salt with my teacher's sugar. I never really liked that teacher, he often made fun me, punished me for being a victim of anything, forced me and multiple other students to take a shop class we didn't even sign up for, never actually helped me with work I couldn't do instead just went on about the work I had already done, there's more but I won't keep going.
The next morning, I was late like usual because my mother is never on time (I'm actually starting to wonder how she has a job if she's never on time for anything), and it turns out my teacher had threw up because of the salty sugar in his coffee. Since there was no security or anyway to prove who did it, I was never caught, even when another student (Who was actually the daughter of that teacher) tried to pin the blame on me. I actually pulled that prank numerous times throughout the year, I just adjusted the time between each prank long enough so that suspicion was off by the time I did it again.
I used to celebrate April Fool's Day when it was fun. However, it is not fun anymore because of political correctness and how easily people get offended nowadays. Political correctness is here to stay though, so instead of trying to beat it, I've decided to join it. So this year was the first year I was anti-April Fool's Day. I didn't pull any pranks at all, and asked no one prank me (and if they did, I would cop a fuss about it to turn them away from doing it again, but luckily no one pranked me this year).
One of the best pranks I ever did was when I was engineer at my college radio station, I sent an email out to everyone saying we recently received an FCC infraction because someone said the F word on the air. I mentioned that we were taking strict measures from this point on, that staff have to be present for every show, that you'd get immediately kicked out of the org if you said any cursing on the air, and that if we were fined, the responsible DJ would have to pay it (which is a whopping $350,000 ish). Then at the very end, I mentioned April Fool's. I scared the hell out of my general manager XD.
No one has really been ballsy enough to prank me for some reason to be honest… though I will admit a couple have tried to play a light prank on me but I caught on before I was pranked lol.
The prank that backfired was when I emailed everyone saying that I had to leave to go to a different state because my close friend named "April Fools" passed away from cancer. Yeah… that did not go over well and that was when I decided no more April Fool's for me.
